Chancel Choir
At Rose Run Presbyterian Church, music is a vital element of our weekly worship. Not only is it part of each Sunday Worship Service, but we also host special music concerts throughout the year, including our Messiah Sing-along each December.
Our adult choir meets every Wednesday night at 7 pm for practice. The group sings at most worship services from September through May. Special music ensembles are part of worship throughout the summer. Everyone is welcome to participate in the choir, no auditions are needed. We view our choir as a small group within our church which means it is a wonderful way to plug into RRPC and be part of this music ministry.
Our Handbell Choir is part of worship services throughout the year. Practices are scheduled just before worship on the Sundays when the group plays. If you’d like more information, please contact Stephanie Dinsmore. This year we will host our first Handbell Festival, with five handbell choirs participating on Sunday, November 23 at 7 p.m.!
In addition to our worship music, we also host free concerts throughout the year, featuring talented musicians of many genres. Musical guests have included Chamber Music Connection (CMC), New Albany Winds, the Heisey Clarinet Choir, as well as our own amazing organist, Hector Garcia. Keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming opportunities to enjoy talented musicians and vocalists in our sanctuary.
