Ministries Coordinator
Debbie Oien shares her talents coordinating operational activities conducted by the church. She also assists our Pastor in driving strategic initiatives.
Children and Youth Ministry
Elizabeth Gonda provides care and education to our children, older youth and young families. She supervises our Sunday School class content and coordinates youth activities. Socialization and spiritual development are stressed and lessons are learned in a fun and creative environment.
Choir, Organist and Music Ministry
Hector Garcia Santana shares his musical talents by leading our choir and by providing inspirational music during our worship services. We are lucky to have him on the organ bench on Sunday mornings, and for an occasional concert on a Sunday afternoon.
Communications and Marketing Ministry
This group establishes and executes the church marketing and communication plan to support programs, events and community outreach. Karen Koenig leads this ministry.
Deacons
Our church deacons, nominated and elected by the congregation, provide personal care, support and prayers to individuals in the congregation. The deacons provide personal care, support and prayer to individuals in the congregation, especially during times of illness, loss or other challenges. Liz Carr and Carolyn Belisle are the co-moderators of the Deacons.
Hospitality Ministry
Rose Run's Hospitality Ministry, led Sue Carlisle and Sabrina McCartt, plan and manage our weekly after church Fellowship, from set-up to clean up. This ministry coordinates special meals and special events including our annual Pancake Breakfast, a Chili Cook-off, Pretzel Sunday and the church anniversary, to name just a few.
Mission Ministry
Sheila Phillips, Val Robinson, Stephanie Dinsmore, Megan Campbell, Vicki Clark spend many hours shopping, stocking, packing and delivering food and supplies to New Albany school children, the NA Food Pantry, Avondale Elementary in Columbus, Neighborhood Bridges and more.
Property & Security Ministry
Brett Challacombe manages our church building and grounds. He supervises our property maintenance and focuses on building security for our congregation.
Small Groups Ministry
Marilyn Tanious leads this ministry, which offers people the chance to study together, share time together and learn more about each other. These groups gather at various times of the year for a couple of months at a time. Participants find these small group experiences very meaningful. Group leaders include Carl Levander, Elizabeth Gonda, Jon Carlisle, and Gail Hawks.
Stewardship Ministry
Our financial activity is adeptly handled by Treasurer Mark Koenig. He oversees and reviews our expenses and cash flow status. he has initiated and administered capital campaigns and our annual stewardship campaign. He communicates with the church members on a regular basis and initiates strategies for growth and savings.
Worship Ministry
Janet Fallon supplies flowers, communion elements, pulpit supplies and visual touches to our sanctuary on a weekly basis. Worship themes, church season and holidays guide her choices throughout the year.
